How much does Kung Fu training cost?
Your first Kung Fu lesson is completely free, so you can come along, meet us and experience the class before deciding whether it is right for you. After your first lesson, It's pay as you go at £10.00 per session and then a straightforward monthly membership at £32.00 a month Â

What should I wear to my first Kung Fu class?
You don't need any special equipment or uniform for your first lesson. Comfortable sports clothing, such as a T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or training trousers, is ideal. We wear trainers for footwear. Bring a bottle of water along to class as well.

Do I need any previous martial arts experience?
Absolutely not. Beginners are always welcome. You don't need to be fit, flexible or experienced in martial arts to get started. We teach the fundamentals progressively and help you develop your skills at a pace that suits you.

What age can children start Kung Fu?
Our junior Kung Fu classes are designed for children from around 6 years old, with training adapted to their age and level of experience. We focus on developing confidence, discipline, coordination, fitness, awareness and practical martial arts skills in a positive and supportive environment.

Is Kung Fu just about fighting?
No. While practical martial skills and self-defence are an important part of our training, Kung Fu is about much more than fighting. Training develops discipline, coordination, fitness, awareness, confidence, focus and perseverance. We also explore the traditional principles and philosophy that sit behind the art.

What happens in a typical Kung Fu class?
Classes combine a mixture of fitness, conditioning, fundamental techniques, forms, partner work, practical self-defence and martial applications. The exact content varies depending on the group and level. You will be encouraged to work hard while learning in a safe, controlled and supportive environment.
